What you have changed
Your working copy against the syllabus on the site.
Making it live
Checking how this copy of the panel can publish…
- Press Publish to the site. The syllabus is saved to the academy database.
assets/syllabus.jsonis rewritten in the same moment, so the student and school dashboards pick it up on their next load.- Any syllabus with a file attached still needs that file uploaded to
public_html/assets/syllabus/by hand — publishing moves the list, not the attachments.
- Press Download syllabus.json. Your browser saves the file.
- In cPanel → File Manager, open
public_html/assets/. - Upload it, replacing the
syllabus.jsonalready there. - Any syllabus with a file attached needs that file in
public_html/assets/syllabus/too. - Hard-refresh once. Students and the school see the new syllabus.
Bulk entryPaste or load the whole list at once, from a spreadsheet or a CSV file.
Paste the whole list
One syllabus per line. Copying straight out of a spreadsheet works — tabs, commas and semicolons are all read as separators.
Nothing pasted yet.
How a line is read
Three fields, in this order.
- Module — the level name, e.g.
Advance (Level 1). A name that does not exist yet is created as a new module. - Session number — a whole number. Left out, it carries on from the last session in that module.
- Topic — everything after the second separator, so a topic containing a comma is still safe.
Lines that cannot be read are listed above and skipped — nothing is imported until you press a button.
